Hobart, TAS – This position is being readvertised as it was not previously filled due to business restrictions imposed as a result of COVID-19. The Health and Community Services Union (HACSU) is one of Tasmania’s largest and most progressive unions with 8,000 members across Tasmania in the public and private sectors of the health and community services industry. We are seeking the services of an Industrial Organiser to join our organising team in the south of the state. The successful applicant will work with Union Delegates to recruit, organise and provide support for HACSU members at a range of worksites and to deal with members’ industrial and worksite issues which range from individual employment matters through to enterprise bargaining and the conduct of industrial campaigns. Training and support will be provided to the successful applicant.
